With each bedroom having it’s own toilet facilities, this was perfect for us and friends to celebrate my partners 50th. The house had everything we needed for 8 adults on a long weekend. Perfectly heated, never a chill and more importantly (so we have found) no messing with ‘not enough hot water’ or water pressure when all getting ready, never an issue. Opposite the castle, lovely garden, we would have definitely taken advantage of it, if it were warmer months. The owner was excellent at providing directions and agree the the ‘Potted Lobster’ was well worth booking so thanks for that Jill 👍. Plenty of lovely eateries in Bamburgh and as my partner and I had a few nights on our own after the weekend, managed to try them all other than the Copper Kettle which isn’t open in the winter months. Beautiful beach, nice walks and only a stroll across the green. Certainly hope we can return soon to see it in the summertime.

Really nothing at all to complain about. Great location, lovely house, we'll presented, great communication... Really spot on. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Bamburgh at Rock Cottage. The cottage was just perfect and worked very well for us. Hopefully we will be able to visit again soon!

Fantastic property that gave us a wonderful experience in Bamburgh. So easy to get around and see the sights and enjoy great meals in the evening.

We brought the family to Rock Cottage for New Year. The house is in a great location and has been altered to create a fabulous space . We will hopefully be back

Our first impression of Rock Cottage was, crikey, look at the view! You couldn’t be closer to the incredible spectacle of Bamburgh Castle and the view of the green directly opposite was also a real bonus. The proximity to the beach was so close and, again, it’s difficult to imagine a better beach in the UK than Bamburgh’s vast, sandy and uncrowded expanse of loveliness. We are a multi-generational family of 10 ranging from 2 years to 60 and everything in between. The house provided everyone with plenty of space to do their own thing: 3 living areas including the spacious kitchen/living area facing the lovely garden made sure that. When we wanted to be together to eat, chat or play games, the communal space was perfect. When we weren’t on the beach we made good use of the lovely patio to relax or the great lawn to play badminton, volleyball, etc. The dining area in the house is particularly impressive, seating 10 of us easily. Five bathrooms, all beautifully fitted out with high quality fixtures, meant that, again, we could have our own space and privacy. Bedrooms are a good size and are decorated in restful, neutral colours. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of plates and cutlery but a very minor suggestion to improve would be to have a few more dishes for dips, platters, serving dishes type-thing. We found we were juggling receptacles a bit - but we are a family of amateur cooks so tend to make use of lots of kitchenalia. I did say it was a minor suggestion. We loved the house and the area and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Hopefully soon!

The property is in a great location and is as described on the website. We had some initial issues but they were quickly resolved by the property manager.

We had a wonderful time at Rock Cottage with our group of friends, we were able to visit all the areas and sites that we wanted during the week we were there and we were also very fortunate that the weather we had was glorious.

The house was perfect for us and the weather was very kind to us too! Bamburgh is our favourite place for a family break with the dog. Lovely to be so close to the castle, beach and sand dunes.

The standard of this accommodation is excellent, everything you need for a perfect stay. Immaculately clean and comfortable. A secure garden for the children and enough lounges for us all to have a little quiet time. The location is brilliant, walking distance to beach, castle, a range of pubs and restaurants and a swing park and green on the other side of the road. One thing is that there is only one working TV with just freeview channels. It might be nice to provide a little more I.e. Netflix although there was a range of dvd’s Available. When we return to the Northumberland we will definitely stay here again.

Stayed at Rock Cottage to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. Great house for a family get together as plenty of space for everyone. Very well equipped. Would definitely go back.

Rock Cottage was a brilliant choice for us as a family of 4 plus both sets of grandparents. The extension makes for an open plan family kitchen dining area which comfortably sat everyone, and we only needed to use one of the other 2 lounges when kids wanted to watch TV. Bedrooms were pristine and cosy and most had open rails for clothes instead of wardrobes but the owners made the right use of space and ensured that everyone had their own shower and toilet (3 upstairs were en-suite) and 2 separate bathrooms making living together so much easier. All high end fittings. You can’t get a better location with views out to the green and castle. Walled garden fully enclosed for dogs. The Copper Kettle and Victoria Hotel were our favourites just a few minutes walk. And a 3 mile flat walk to Seahouses was great. Would love to return.

As a group of 10 Rock cottage was perfect. It's beautiful open kitchen, dining and living room was fantastic, never feeling crowded. The cottage was clean and the bathrooms and shower rooms were spotless with lovely white towels. The kitchen area is very functional with ample crockery, pots and pans. The coffee machine, nespresso, was well used. We would all recommend this cottage to family and friends as the setting is amazing, looking on to Bamburgh Castle. The restaurants and bars are lovely and all within walking distance. Thank you for a brilliant weekend.

Lovely property in a great location. Two families came together and it was great that the adults could enjoy sitting, chatting and having a glass of wine in the kitchen/diner whilst the kids entertained themselves in the games room on the wii!

The house had everything we could have wanted in a lovely location. We were very lucky with the weather and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the long awaited break.

Couldn't have asked for anything more. Very well equipped for adults, kids and dogs. All had a fantastic time
