Bookings

Generally from Friday to Friday. Arrival after 4 p.m. Departure before 10 a.m.

 

*Bookings are subject to written confirmation by us on receipt of a fully completed booking form together with the deposit. The person who signs the booking form shall be liable for that booking and full payment for all guests named on the form. The cottage may not be occupied by persons other than those specified on the booking form.

 

Payment

 

*A deposit of 50% per week or part week is required to finalise the booking. The balance will be due 4 months prior to the guests arrival and due immediately if the booking is less than 4 months to check-in. Payment is requested as a BACS payment and details will be provided with submission of the form.

Cancellation​

 

Guests who cancel in writing at least 4 months before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. After 4 months, they will not get a refund for any reason if they cancel. We would therefore recommend that you arrange your own insurance cover. In the unlikely event that the owner has to cancel your booking, you will be offered an alternative week or weeks of an equivalent value or a full refund. We do not offer compensation payments and bookings are made at your own risk. ​

COVID - in the event of the rental property being locked down, making it illegal to rent, all guests will get 100% refund. if however the house is legally allowed to be rented, and Covid prevents someone from travelling, no refund will be given. 

 

Access

 

The owner or their agents shall be allowed access at any time.

 

Care and maintenance

 

No fireworks and no parties. Guests shall maintain the accommodation, fixtures and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday, and shall leave the cottage in the same state of cleanliness and general order as it was found. Smoking is strictly prohibited and whilst routine final cleaning and laundry is included for the specified guests, the owner shall be entitled to recover the cost (estimated if not precisely known) of any additional cleaning, laundry or damage caused by guests including the value of any consequential losses. Any damage or breakages must be reported to the owners or their agent at the time of the incident.

 

Pets

 

One well-behaved dog may be allowed by special arrangement at an additional charge of £45 per stay on condition that they comply with the same rules that we demand of our own pets. An additional dog may be considered at an additional charge of £45:

 

• They are never allowed on furniture.

• They are not left unattended either in the cottage or outside.

• The washer/dryer must not be used to wash dog beds.

• There is no sign of the pet evident in the property upon departure.
